Description;

Following the successfull Fit-Out of Level 31 during 2009, AMI have again been employed to supply & Install the Mechanical services pipework serving 71 fan coil units on each of the floors on Level 26 and 27. Again the programme constraints are tight and each floor is programmed to take 6 weeks each.

Description;

AMI are to carry out the complete supply and installation of Mechanical pipework systems at the Harris Boys Academy, Peckham Rye. The systems include LTHW and Chilled Water for the 3 storey building including 440 Chilled beams, Basement Plantrooms, AHU’s, Roof Mounted Chillers and Ground Source Heat Pumps. An 8 month programme requires a high level of skilled tradesmen and good co-ordination to achieve the clients requirements.

Description;

AMI are carrying out the installation of below ground Medium Density Polyethylene, MDPE, pipework with electro-fusion jointing for Gas, Mains Cold Water and Boosted Water services. We are installing approximately 1600m of pipework ranging in size from 32mm to 90mm to supply an extension to ‘The Centre’ shopping centre in Milton Keynes. In addition we are completing the shell and core Soil Vent Pipes and Rain Water Down Pipes.

Description;

AMI are replacing the entire domestic services system in the ‘Richmond Desmond Children’s Eye Hospital’ at Moorfield’s Eye Hospital due to contamination of the Copper pipework. The process involves isolation of one floor at a time, stripping out all of the copper services and replacing them with new whilst maintaining the building operational on all other floors and ensuring no cross contamination with the existing system. To do this we are installing a new riser and temporary mains pipework to the storage tanks and completing a floor at a time over a 11 month period.

Description;

AMI are carrying out the supply and installation of Landlords LTHW, Domestic and Gas Services including the installation of the Boiler house and mains distribution to the 6 residential blocks and the rising pipework. Our works conclude on each level of each block within the riser after the commissioning valves and domestic meter manifolds.

Description;

AMI are carrying out the complete Mechanical and Public Health pipework installation at this new-build Bupa Care-Home in Hampshire. The project accommodates 60 ensuite residential units.

Heating is achieved by an underfloor heating system comprising 20 manifolds in and around the building.

The domestic pipework system has been installed with the use of Xpress Multi-Layer press-fit pipework.

Description;

During the School Summer break AMI have refurbished the main Boiler House of Christ School. We have renewed the LTHW, HWS and Gas pipework, fittings, valves and ancillaries including the Test and purge of the gas pipework and positioning of Boilers, Gas Fired Water Heaters, Pumps and Pressurisation Units.

Description;

AMI are carrying out the complete Mechanical and Public Health pipework installation at Success House, on the Old Kent Road, London. The project accommodates 45 residential units of 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 2 bedroom split-level and 3 bedrooms.

The heating system is supplied by a central boiler house located within the Ground Floor feeding dedicated manifolds within each of the units. The boiler house comprises 3 Gas fired Boilers and a Dual fired pellet & gas Bio-Mass Boiler. The LTHW pipework is run in mild steel to the units and then HEP2O locally within them.

The Domestic system is fed from the Basement to manifolds located within each of the risers at each level, enabling separate metering of each unit within the Landlords space. The Hot water is electrically generated within each unit and fed by copper pipework to the appliances.

In addition, we are installing 2 Dry Risers and 32 SVP stacks throughout the building.

AMI are supplying all Mechanical & Public Health pipework, fittings, valves, ancillaries and brackets.

Description;

The building comprises Basement, Ground and 5 Floors of Services with Plantroom’s located within the Basement, 1st and 4th Floors. The pipework systems include;

Description;

AMI are installing new mechanical pipework services to 72 Fan Coil Units. The project set on the 31st floor of London’s tallest building is required to be completed in a 4 week period from start to finish.

Description;

AMI have been employed to carry out the supply and installation of the domestic and public health services at Marlow House.

The building sitting in the shadow of the famous Gherkin Building is being completely refurbished. AMI are installing new risers to service the toilet cores, installing the sanitary ware and fitting out all of the services associated with the toilets including future use tea points throughout the 7 floors and basement. In addition we are carrying out the installation of the domestic plantroom in the basement and the condensate risers serving the dx FCU's.

Description;

Mitie Engineering Services have employed AMI to carry out the installation of all Heating & Chilled Water Pipework systems throughout the 3 Buildings at the National Audit Office. Block A & C include levels Basement through to 7th Floor, and Block B to 9th Floor. The Principle Contractor is Wates.

The systems include heating and cooling via Chilled Beams, Fan Coil units and perimeter trench heating as well as air conditioning systems via Air Handling Units.

AMI in conjunction with Mitie will be co-ordinating the roof plantroom pipework to ensure that it can be supplied prefabricated and AMI will then carry out the installation. Prefabrication is bring used to enable the quality, efficiency of installation and safety on the project to be realised.

The Pipework ranges in size from 15mm to 300mm and the project is programmed for a 10 month installation period.

Description;

AMI have been employed to carry out the installation of the mechanical & domestic services plantrooms at John Perryn school.

The mechanical installation is a traditional site welded mild steel pipework assembly whilst the domestic services are plastic crimped pipework. We are connecting the services between the Ground Source Heat Pumps, Boilers, Circulating Pumps, Pressurisation unit, Buffer Vessel, Water Tanks, Booster Pumps and Irrigation System.

Description;

AMI have been employed to carry out the installation of pipework modules containing services such as Oil, LTHW, Compressed air and cooling water.

We have installed adjustable feet onto the modules and then levelled them using laser levels; and finally connected all of the pipework. The pipework connections are all flange joints and we have implemented a quality control procedure to ensure that the flanges are tightened to the required torque ratings whilst utilising a cross pattern method of tightening them.

Once the modules have been assembled, the pipework tested and flushed they will be disassembled and shipped to Africa for reassembly.

Description;

Ropemaker Place, a British Land development is a new build 21 storey, plus 3 basement levels, Office Development. The project managed by Mace under a CM form of contract has awarded the Mechanical Services contract to Balfour Kilpatrick Ltd.

AMI has been employed by Balfour Kilpatrick to undertake all of the Mechanical Pipework Installations for the Shell & Core element of works for pipe sizes up to and including 50mm. AMI are carrying out a traditional installation of all pipework up to and including 50mm diameter. In addition we are installing all of the Public Health pipework from the Ground Floor to the 21st Floor roof level. This includes Ensign pipework to 150mm and Copper pipework to 76mm.

Description;

One Southampton Row has retained the existing buildings listed facade with a New Build Development behind it. The completed building will be utilised as Commercial Office premises.

The Main Contractor is Bovis Lend Lease. Bovis have appointed Mitie Engineering as the M&E Contractor who has in turn employed AMI to undertake the installation of the Mechanical Pipework Services.

AMI are carrying out the installation of Chilled Water and Condensate Pipework to 263 No. 2-pipe fan coil units throughout the 5 floors. The system designed as reversed return, involves mild steel pipework sized up to 65mm.

Description;

AMI supplied and installed all of the prefabricated pipework on the roof of the building connecting up the newly installed chillers. In addition we replaced a number of existing control valves again utilising prefabricated pipework supplied by AMI. We also installed Heat meter assemblies on each of the floors.
